Reclaimed wide-plank flooring is a little cheaper, averaging about $10 per square foot, but prices vary radically depending on the species of wood. Where commercial flooring uses boards that are typically no more than 3″ wide, wide plank floors use boards that may be as much as 8″ to 10″ wide, or even up to 14″ wide.
